Chiba City Liner (CHB) is based out of Narita International Airport (NRT) in Chiba Prefecture in the Greater Tokyo Area. Currently, CHB operates the largest number of flights out of NRT, serving all the major cities in Japan as well as destinations in Korea, China, Taiwan and the Philippines. Hub transfer times are at 10:00, 18:00 and 23:30. International flights leaving Tokyo at 23:30 and arriving at 10:00 while domestic flights operate at all hours of the day.
The fleet is composed of Boeing 737-600s, Bombardier Dash8s and Bombardier CRJs, all of which are less than three years old. An upgrade of cabin configurations has begun, with more of the fleet being outfitted with Economy and Advanced Business seating arrangements.
We already serve several hubs which are used by Open Skies members in Asia, and CHB is targeting Pacific routes for expansion, which will connect with other hubs in addition to establishing more connections to mid-sized Japanese cities. Building routes to North America and Oceania is a priority. Chiba City Liner is looking for an alliance which will be active in coordinating in the development of these plans and cooperating in our business ventures.
CHB is wholly owned by the Tessier-Ashpool Corporation, which also owns 80% of the regional carrier, Hokkaido Koku (HKK). Hokkaido Koku serves the island of Hokkaido, connecting Sapporo Chitose, Sapporo Okadama and Hakodate with the rest of Japan. It also operates short-range flights to smaller cities on the island of Hokkaido through its hub in Chitose airport.
Tessier-Ashpool is my second holding on Airlinesim and my only venture on Stapleton.
