BlueStar Airline applies for membership

BlueStar Airline (BSA) is based in New-York JFK and is a member of Platinum Sky Alliance and as it's President I don't like the orientation this Alliance is taking and wishes to join a more dynamic Alliance, witch Open Skies seem's to offer. First of all there is no participation and the contact between the player is mostly dead. Second; all communications, when happening, are made in German and if this is a factor, well, I speak only English and French. I have been playing AS for about 5 months mostly in Croydon as EastAsian AirLines(EAA) and also Stapleton since the opening of it.

BlueStar Airline has, actually, a Domestic vocation but plans to grow Internationnal and connect North America to Europe, Asia, South and Central America. Blue Star is composed, at this time, mostly of medium sized Boeing aircrafts, 6 / 737-700 BGW(73G) and 2 smaller Bombardier CRJ-700(CR7) used for regional routes. Blue Star is growing and adding aircrafts every weeks, our actual profit margin resides between 1.5 and 2 millions NET a week. This week we are aiming for 40K PAX and 50 million SKT. We also plan to register on the Stock Market when we reach an equity of 30$ Million , actual equity ...22$ million.

To grow our PAX we plan, in a short term period, to strenghten our Domestic market and expand our Interlining we target 97 to 100% occupancy on all aircrafts and routes, actual occupancy 98.5%. In a mid time period we plan to work out of 4 hubs with main hub at JFK that will be used as platform for the Europeen market. Southern US hub will be located either at Orlando (MCO), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA) depending of slot availabilty at the time, and will be used as platform for South America. Central US hub will be located at Houston (IAH) to serve as platform for Central America and Seatle/Tacoma will be our Western hub to be used as platform for our Asian routes in our long term period plans.

Personnal: In real life I'm based out in Montreal Canada 5Km to (YMX), and this game is the best thing after my job... I connect on AS at least once a day. I do believe that first place is reached thru effort, good team work and communication witch I also believe Open Skies is made of.

Awaiting your answer, Regards to everyone.

Good evening fly Green & Red

To answer your questions;

1) Only fools do not change their ideas, I could change my southern hub wich actually is not set I only operate out out of JFK and if you see a Hurdle with MIA and FLL I could also stick with MCO (Orlando) as for my central; hub I chose IAH because the slot availability there would probably be easier than DFW but I could also accomodate out of PHX or DEN if nobody complains about those airport.

2) Your second question, I have difficulty understanding it, but here goes... We try to use more recent aircrafts less then 10 years old so this being said we actually don't have the money, at this time,to buy less then 10 year old aircraft so we lease long term. At this time we operate 8 aircrafts, 6 Boeing 737-700 BGW and 2 CRJ-700, and usually we add 1 plane a week. the CR7 are used on shorter regional routes and the 73G either mid range hauls or between major airports. In the future we plan to keep using Boeings crafts 767 or 777 for the Long Haul (Trans Atlantic or Trans Pacific or even to the far South for Southern America).

Hope this answered your questions but if you need more details we will try to go depeer in explanation.
